We are a family owned and operated business. We were established in 1941, by Albert & Leda Commellini and have been proudly influencing the Spokane food and event culture ever since. We are located in North Spokane, Washington and offer a private location surrounded in the majestic trees and tranquil sounds of Spring Creek. Our venue has SIX onsite venue locations with indoor and outdoor options. We specialize in event design and coordination.

Lauri Seghetti Owner
Lauri is a long-time resident of Spokane. She met her husband, Robert, while attending Mead High School. They often talked about running Commellini Estate. As one could expect life had different plans. After High School they married and had 3 children. Besides raising her children, Lauri owned and operated an Interior Design Company for 16 ½ years. She did work in Spokane and the surrounding areas. In 2009, when the opportunity once again presented itself, Lauri found she longed to fulfill her dreams of running Commellini Estate. With the desire to continue the family legacy Lauri oversees the daily operations of Commellini Estate, as the Vice President.
Desiree Seghetti SulpizioOperations Manager
Desiree, a Spokane native, developed a passion for businesswhile attending the University of Washington. While in school, she was the CEO of a student event based company called University Adventures. Upon graduating she returned to Spokane to pursue her dream of rejuvenating Commellini’s to its former grandeur along with her parents. Desiree has received several awards in her position, including the title of being one of the top 20 professionals in Spokane under 40 years-old, by the Inland Business Catalyst Magazine. Desiree recently got married on the Estate and currently works in the remote office located in San Diego, CA, as the Estate’s Vice President of Operations.
Robert Seghetti Owner
Robert is the great nephew of Albert and Leda Commellini. Albert & Leda were more like grandparents to Robert, as there was no other family members in the United States and as such he called them grandma and grandpa. When the Seghetti family was forced to make a decision after Leda’s passing, Robert was in great turmoil trying to decide between operating Commellini’s and going to college. He inevitably went to Gonzaga University and always hoped for another chance to operate the family business. When the opportunity presented itself in 2009, Robert and his wife Lauri were not willing to let this long time dream pass them by once again.
Savannah Rolston Event Coordinator
Savannah, a Spokane native, is a graduate of The University of Nevada Las Vegas where she received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. At UNLV she studied Event Management and found a passion for the hospitality industry. Her compassion and investment into your special day will make it one to remember!
Kathy DanforthOffice Assistant
Kathy is recently retired from Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center where she worked for 44 years. She loved her job as an Executive Assistant to many wonderful people through the years. She has also been married to the love her life for 44 years and is enjoying spending more time with him – walking with Danny and Addi (their dog) every morning and coffee on the deck before coming into Commellini Estate. Kathy brings wide knowledge and experience and you will find her keeping the office organized and efficient.
Tanner KissingerHead Bartender
Tanner was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Mt. Spokane High School in 2013, and continued his education at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, Washington, where he played basketball for two years. Tanner has always had a passion for sports is looking to do the best that he can at whatever he does. He now is a full time student at Eastern Washington University, studying management information systems, and enjoys being able to ensure every event we have here at the estate will be safe, fun and unforgettable.
