The Prohibition on Candy: A Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt
Let us take a trip back in time 100 years to the Halloween that almost wasn’t. Imagine it’s the year 1920, and across the nation, one of the most important parts of Halloween has been banned…candy! While candy seemed to disappear from the stores, that didn’t stop clever people from making it. You see, a few brave souls recognized that they didn’t need the candy companies, they could make their own delicious treats for Halloween.
However, not only had all the candy been banned, so had all of the ingredients. This made their job even harder. Now, as Halloween night approaches, finding the ingredients to make candy has become even more of a challenge, and requires even more bravery. The crafty candy makers at Commellini Estate now need your help to save Halloween night! You’ve been chosen to be an official Prohibition Candy Runner! This job requires bravery, smarts, and a sense of adventure. Do you think you’re up to the challenge? For more information and to book your time slot, click here.
