Their Story

How we met: We met in college at WSU.

Proposal in brief: Elijah took Courtney to a pumpkin patch with her best friend! Elijah chose this because fall is Courtney’s favorite season.

Day in three words: Perfect, Emotional, Beautiful

Ceremony

Wedding time: Began at 6:35 PM

Number of Guests: Around 150

Colors: Navy Blue and Dark Green

Wedding theme: We wanted our wedding to have a classic fairytale in the woods feel. Partially inspired by Edward and Bella’s wedding in Twilight.

Favorite ceremony moment: Elijah’s favorite moment was his father being the officiant. Courtney’s favorite moment was Elijah telling her WSU won their football game.

Reception

First dance song: Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs — Elijah quoted this song the first time he posted Courtney on social media 🙂

Touching speeches: Both of our parents and brothers made speeches for us. Elijah’s dad actually sang during his!

Favorite reception moment: Elijah’s favorite reception moment was hearing everyone’s stories of how they knew Courtney and himself. Courtney’s favorite reception moment was dancing with her friends and family, especially to Taylor Swift.

All In the Details

Flowers or centerpieces: All of our flowers and centerpieces were made by the Courtney’s mother!

Surprise elements: We did not know what kind of car would be there for our exit! Courtney’s father and a family friend surprised the couple with a very cool classic car!
