The basic Focaccia recipe is thought to have originated with the Etruscans or Ancient Greeks. Focaccia, known and loved in Italy and abroad, is yeasted flat bread which belongs to the northern shores of the Mediterranean. We will be doing a twist on this classical antiquity with balsamic caramelized onion and goat cheese. Chef Jeannie will also lead a demonstration on infused olive oils and vinegars that you can try at home.

Class culminates in a delicious meal, served family style, inside the historic Commellini Estate’s Main Venue.

On the Menu:

Infused Olive Oil & Vinegars

Balsamic Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Focaccia (made in class)

Tomato Basil Spinach Salad

Zuppa Toscana: Traditional Tuscan potato cream soup with Spinach and ground pork sausage.

Dessert: Gelato

Adults (21+), enjoy a glass of wine or beer upon arrival and another with our meal! Each participant will receive a recipe card to take home. The class, including meal time, takes approximately 3 hours.
