This Tomato Basil Vinaigrette recipe is bursting with flavor and is the perfect addition to liven up your summer salads. This recipe was originally created when we had a little leftover sauce and were making “family-meal” before a catering event for our team. It was first created with Leda’s Meat Sauce but is equally as delicious when using Gina’s Marinara.  Take your salad preparation game up a few notches with this recipe!

Tomato Basil Vinaigrette


1 Cup Tomato Sauce (We recommend using Gina’s Marinara Sauce or for some extra protein Leda’s Meat Sauce)

1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Basil

¾ Cup Olive Oil (we recommend extra Virgin Olive Oil any time the oil is not heated)

½ Red Wine Vinegar

2 teaspoons Salt

1 teaspoon pepper


Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Stir to combine. Spoon over your favorite salad, simple mixed greens, or over pasta salad. Boun Appetito!
